The project site used to be a Michelin factory, and in order to bring this long unused land back to the citizens of Trento, Renzo Piano transformed it into the Le Albere community.

The project covers an area of 11 hectares and is equipped with apartment buildings, office buildings, shops, parks, as well as a multifunctional cultural center and the New Trento Natural Science Museum (MUSE).

All building roofs in this project are made of zintek ® Zintek, as the general contractor of the project, designed and constructed the overall roof system for laying the bottom layer of titanium zinc panels.
